A Trip to Hong Kong ^ ^

9:10:00 AM

Date/ Time: Mid May 2013 ( 8 days )
Flight        : Air Asia Kch / KL / Macau / KL / Kch (RM700++ per person)
Going with: My Mom / Tehooo / Tehooo's mom

Decided to join Tehooo and her mom to Hong Kong during this summer holiday.
For me, Hong Kong is a very busy place as in super pack with people, cars, skyscrapers, etc...
While Macau is kind like super relax place, slow pace, more historical kind of city like Melacca. Hahahha
But the similarity for both is handsome guys can seen everywhere. Even the policemen also the good- looking type rolling on the floor

Day 1 - 16/5/2013
Anyway, my mom and I spent one night at the LCCT because our flight to Macau was around 6am ++

So basically we all slept in the plane until the plane touched down Macau Airport. If you noticed, Macau Airport's runway is located between the sea O.O

Thanks to Tehooo for all the researches that she had done, we can have our own tour in HK/ Macau without any worries ^ ^

So, after we reached Macau Airport, immediately we headed to the bus station ( Clear direction shown in the airport directory) to get our bus (AP1) to the Macau Ferry station in order to reach Hong Kong (:
We chose Turbojet out of other ferry services because according to Tehooo, this Turbojet got better review though the ticket is slightly expensive than others.

Macau --> Kowloon (HK$ 147)
Duration : One hour +
Please log on to the website to check the time and other related information. big grin

We started our journey by taking MTR to our hotel. We bought the Octopus Card mainly for railway use. We topped up the card until HK$ 150 ( HK$50 is for the deposit)  per person. Remember to return the Octopus Card to the counter so that you can get back the money ^ ^ or you can keep it as souvenir

We stayed at Dragon Hostel which located at Mongkok Area, to be exact, it is at 83 Argyle St, Hong Kong.
Please bear in mind that this hostel is located inside the apartment block. It's quite easy to spot but you will get confusing by walking forward and backward for several times until you realize where is the place. You can always seek help from the pedestrians too!
I forgot the rate of our room ( in affordable price) @@ but you can always email the person in charge regarding to the price and room preference. FYI, the room in HK is super small due to space constrained, more like a compact room. Overall, Dragon hostel located at good location ( few minutes to Mongkok Subway station, many eateries, shopping malls etc..) and most important, they got super friendly staffs ^ ^ Recommended for backpackers !!

After done with this, we quickly went to have our lunch at one of the eateries.

Typical bus scene in HK :D

Headed to Tsim Tsa Tsui station for this Victoria Harbour/ Avenue of Stars!

The night view was awesome!!!! Symphony of Lights is the spectacular light and sound show at Victoria Harbour. This is also the largest lighting and music show in the world, so please do not miss this if you were at HK!!!! thumbs up

Originally Tehooo was waiting for her Giant Rubber Yellow duck to appear but unfortunately the yellow duck burst, so she can't even say hi to that giant baby. hahahaha

We left Victoria Harbour at 9pm ++ and we went to have some desserts at Chung Kee Dessert 松记糖水

Location: G/F, 51 Parkes Street, Jordan / 佐敦白加士街51號地下

We ordered the must- order dessert which is the one with a mickey head XD * I don know how to pronounce this in Mandarin* but trust me, this one taste nice :D All thanks to Tehooo ^ ^

This is the one :D *Thumbs up! *

That's my first day in Hong Kong

hmmm... and I wonder did we have our dinner on the first night?@@
