" Spending our third day by exploring the outskirt of Tai Chung! "
****
Third day in Taiwan.
We had our breakfast at the local stalls which is just located outside of our hostel.
Butter toast, egg pancake, pancake & fried dumplings XD
We engaged another taxi driver on the third day because the previous driver was already booked in advance by another customer T-T

For our third day itinerary, the first destination is the reputable Lavender Cottage which took us approximately one hour to reach! Do take note that there are different flowers for each season.

Flower blossom season:
November ~ April: Lavender
June ~ August: Salvia

Please visit their official website for more information.

Finally, we reached Lavender Cottage, 薰衣草森林! Yay!
Here's a short description of Lavender Cottage taken from the internet =P

" Once upon a time, two coffee-loving, herb-loving young women loved to draw and record their feelings in music as they traveled. Tired after working for years in the huge cities of Taipei and Kaohsiung, they decided to quit their jobs and start new lives as farmers. They bought a hill in the middle of nowhere, where even a cell phone signal was hard to come by. And there they toiled growing lavender, their dream of a hillside coffee shop surrounded by lavender always in the front of their minds. After years of hard work, the dream was realized. And thus, Lavender Cottage was born."

After visiting Lavender Cottage, we headed to Xinshe District (新社区) and our second destination is the Summit Resort.

Entrance Fee : NT250 including the NT100 coupon that allows you to buy something from here.

It feels like we were in Europe!
Enjoying the beautiful scenery ^ ^
Like a small castle inside the villa!
Before moving on to our next destination: Carton King, we have decided to feed our hungry tummy with some turkey feast =D
 Oh~ I am hungry~
Can't resist the yummy food
Food + Price List
Our next destination: Carton King!
The crockery, furnishings, decorations inside Carton King are made of corrugated cardboard.

Even the tables and chairs of the restaurant inside is made out of cardboard, including the bowl which is served with the food you order.

If any one is worried about the reliability of cardboard furniture, one can request a demonstration from their personnel which usually comprises of a 100kg chef, and with a waitress perched on his lap to assure you the sturdiness of the cardboard chairs.

After that, we did visit some other places like 心之芳庭 Monecour and 高美湿地 GaoMei Wetlands. Unfortunately I didn't take many notable photos of those places. O.O

In my opinion, Monecour is a beautiful place all around, but it isbe a waste of time to visit these beautiful places and not purchase the entrance ticket for the Monecour. (famous for its interior building).

Anyway, we went back to Taichung after that and had our final dinner here before heading to Taipei next morning.

I love 7-11 in Taiwan! Look! My favourite latte from 7-11 XD
Since it will be our last day in Taichung, we spent most of our time eating in Feng Jia night market again

There are some famous spots in Taichung which we missed out and one of them is : Yi Zhong Street (which is a must for sport shoes lovers).
Did you spot something? ~ Taiwan is a pet-friendly place
I guess I have procrastinated a little  in posting my Taiwan travelogue...

Ciao~ xoxo
