My 8D7N Taiwan 2015 - Part I

big grinI am back from the land of " 台湾香肠 Sweet sausage / 珍珠奶茶 Bubble Milk Tea .. " !! - TAIWAN!


Taiwan is indeed a very fun and awesome country, a lot of breathtaking scenery, surrounded by friendly people, food-heaven, shopping paradise and ... pretty girls day dreaming

I fell in love with this country, seriously!! Everything is good including all kinds of food. Taiwanese are kind-hearted and helpful (mostly!). Stuffs are damn exceptionally cheap and especially shoes and facial mask ;x

That is why I am eager to pen down my Taiwan trip. hahahah!!! and I wanna go backto Taiwan AGAIN.... at wits' end


So, let's get started with my travelogue =D

Date/Day    : 28/3-05/4/15 (1N in KK Sabah, 8D7N in Taiwan)
Flights        : Mas (Kch/KK/Kch  - RM 118 per person ) 
                      Air Asia X (KK/Taipei/KK  - RM 590 person)
Going with : WL and Mom love struck
Weather     : Spring 

28/3/2015 (Saturday)


We arrived at Kota Kinabalu one day earlier, so we have decided to tour around the city!
I booked Casuarina Hotel via Agoda which is near to AirAsia Terminal ( reach there within 5 mins)
Casuarina Hotel KK provides free ride to the airport too! but you have to inform the counter beforehand. =)
The room rate for the hotel also quite reasonable. It is around RM115 for a twin bed room!

We had our lunch at Central point KK ( consider the nearest place to visit besides Tanjung Aru! )


After settling with our dinner, we went back to the hotel to have early sleep because our flight is at 6am on the next day ! O.O!!!

29/3/2015 (Sunday)

 Off to Taiwan with some of Air Asia food...


After 3.5 hours of flying, we have finally reached Tao Yuan International Airport! ^ ^

Our first day plan :
Tao Yuan International Airport / Ride Ubus to Taiwan High Speed rail to Taichung / Take a cab to FengJia 逢甲新宿

Okay, the first thing you need to do when you reach the airport:

1. Collect your baggages =.=
2. Get a local phone number which we have actually forgotten... =x
3. Go to the nearest convenient store (Hi Life) to collect/ print out your High Speed Rail Ticket to Taichung if you booked online ( Early bird discount for early online booking!)

Ubus service from the airport to THSR only for NT30!


Going to TaiChung 台中 in less than 40 mins! =D


We took a cab to our hostel (NT200) which is somewhere near the Feng Jia Night Market!
and I am already getting more and more excited !!!

I present you our Doreamon theme Bed room


Feng Jia Xin Su (逢甲新宿) is located just in the heart of the street. 
The room is quite spacious as you can seen from the photo! Reasonable price too!
More-ever, it is super near with all the eateries XD!
So after putting down all our luggage, we decided to exploring the night market! 
But we were just too early for the night market ( we went down around 3pm LOL...)



Finally, we are here! ^ ^

This is our first try at the street.
Just look at the portion of the red bean paste !!! NT100 for 4 O,O!!

The must-try 大肠包小肠 (Small intestine wrapped in large intestine? @.@ )
Hmm... I think it is over-rated O.O It tastes like normal glutinous rice with chinese sweet sausage O.O

Creativity: 4/5 stars rolling on the floor

This is the best!! We had this before we started our food fest and after we finished strolling the street. Hahaha

It is actually thigh meat with macaroni cheese on the top
Worth tyring

花枝烧 - Fried Sotong &Crab

NT50 for THIS big PORTION of Fried Squid.

My papaya milk !! ^ ^
I never missed a chance to drink this on every night O.O!!!

It helps well with my constipation :x 


So, this is my first night in Taiwan- Taichung ^ ^!
