" The first two lines in my life"

Yes! Bingo! I am now a pregnant lady!

I guess I have to jot down all these wonderful moment in my blog because I tend to forget things easily :x

5 months ago, one week after Syndy's wedding, WL was curious since my period is one week late! He instructed me to get a pregnancy test kit at a random drugstore.... but due to my laziness, I only acquire the pregnancy test kit on the next day XD

Fast forwards, I went ahead and followed the instructions given on the pregnancy test kit and to my surprise, I saw TWO RED LINES appeared in less than a minute!!!! O.O I got shocked  because I wasn't prepared for that even though we have been married for .. 7 months (??)

I quickly ran to our room and told WL on that two lines! 
and his reply was " WOW!!!" and a hug from him!  XD

Dear little bump,

We can't wait to see you and for sure I will hug you and smell you every night XD

Another milestone to achieve in year 2017  ^ ^

What are the perfect door gifts to prepare for your guests during your wedding dinner?

You can grab some ideas from these sites such as Instagram, Pinterest and so on, and apply them on this situation!

Well, door gift selection is very subjective and some people chose to match their door gifts with their wedding theme.

For instance, you might want to have a cute or personalized hand fan as a door gift for your garden wedding.

I always wanted to have Ferrero Roche as our door gift because:

1. My guests (especially children) will love it? (Those chocolate lovers do)

2. That is my favourite chocolate !!!!

Initially, we wanted something memorable, but I believe most of our guests will not keep the door gifts. Most of the door gifts would be within the range of a nice pair of chopsticks, cute pepper shakers, cute fan, bookmarks, candles and so on.

3. Sweets?


There are a lot of ideas in Pinterest and I am sorry to admit that I am a lazy bride. Therefore, I opt for the easiest way XD

And of course, it has to be something that both of you can afford. Door gifts are not necessary for a wedding reception. But for me, this is something I can do for my guests (they can have a bite on the chocolate before the dishes is being served XD)

Of Wedding Gowns and Pre Wedding Photo-shooting!

Oh, wedding gowns selection is a very important process for a bride (to be). I am a little picky on my actual gown because I wanted a sleeve gown for my wedding day! It is my dream gown XD Moreover, I didn't get to wear sleeve wedding gowns for my photo shooting!! *遗憾*

Hmm...




I hope that even after 20 years I will still enjoy reading the process of my wedding preparations in this blog (hopefully, blogger won't close down =x finger crossed)

After we got our "auspicious date" (which WL is kinda reluctant to follow), we immediately booked our wedding venue. One of the Asian characteristics is that when it comes to wedding reception/venue, they tend to book high reputation restaurant immediately after the date selection in order to avoid being disappointed. Hence, a lot of restaurants/ hotels starts mushrooming in Kuching.

Things that you should consider before choosing your dream wedding venue :-

a. The type of wedding you would want to have. For instance, I wanted a classy and elegant wedding  hall, hence I will narrow down my choices to posh hotels because one does not need to fully decorate a ballroom to have the same effect of a extravagantly decorated restaurant.

b. Food selection.. 

c. Budget. (I guess this is one of the major concern for most couples... )

Items that are negotiable with your Wedding Venue Vendor : -

1. Food Testing (When & how you would like your dishes to be served. And probably additional charges for changing some dishes from the package)

2. Corkage fee 

3. Wedding Invitation Cards (For eg: how much do they charge for the printing)

4. Tables arrangement 

5. Package discount that can be given (Normally nett price for hotels..)

6. Room rates for our guests.

I wanted my wedding to be as simple as possible where my guests can enjoy themselves too. In order to achieve that, I've decided on certain nice songs/ background music to enhance the ambiance.

Thanks to my husband (who always have high requirement in music) downloaded high quality instrumental songs as the background music.

Recalling those instrumental pieces, it gives a sentimental feeling of returning to the night at the wedding ballroom.

Meanwhile, we decided to use " Lucky - by Jason Mraz" as our wedding video song, and I insist to include "My Love - by Lee Seung Chul" as our childhood video's background music! It created the Omphm/ feel for that video XD




Besides, we had a special guest which is WL's friend - Wilson as our singer on that night.
Love the way he sang and too bad I didn't manage to record down that moment!

Touchdown on Melbourne Airport - Heading to our lovely service apartment located at Prahran area - Sleep!

** A one way ticket from Melbourne Airport to Melbourne Central via Skybus (shuttle bus) cost around AUD19 per person. and it is available in short intervals.
** Be sure to inform your host (for service apartment/lodging) beforehand if you are arriving late (past midnight)

4/3/16 (Friday)
Breakfast at Prahran Market - Chapel Street - Southern Cross Station - Flagstaffs Garden - Queen Victoria Market - Back to Chapel Street for dinner

** There are various shops and point of interest in Chapel Street! Besides that, Chapel Street is filled with vibrant nightlife!
** For those who intend to visit Prahran Market and Queen Victoria Market, you are advised to travel there in the morning.

Breakfast - Chadstone shopping mall - Brighton Beach - Melbourne Central for dinner - Back!

** Chadstone - All the luxurious brands under one roof!
** Brighton beach is reachable via train! It is also one of the landmarks of Melbourne.

6/3/16 (Sunday)
Breakfast - Camberwell Sunday Market - State Library of Victoria - Chinatown - Emporium Shopping Mall - Royal Botanical Gardens - Back to service apartment for dinner (self-cook dinner)

** Camberwell Sunday Market is a place where people gather and peddle their secondhand goods!
** You can relax yourself at the Royal Botanical Gardens.
** Coles supermarket (local) always offer discounted goods where you can buy ingredients to prepare your own meals. 

7/3/16 (Monday)
One day tour to Great Ocean Road which included places like Urquhart Bluff, Historic Memorial Arch, Kennett River for wild koalas, Apollo Bay for lunch, Otway Rainforest, 12 Apostles, Loch Arc Gorge, Shipwreck Coast, The Fallen London Bridge - settle our dinner at Yarra River area!

** It is a must to visit Great Ocean Road as it is one of the landmarks that defines Melbourne.

Breakfast - Flinder Street Station - St Paul Cathedral - strolling around Melbourne Central - Hunting for the Graffiti art at Mel. Central - Eureka Skydeck- Eureka 89 for dinner

** Take a moment to appreciate the graffiti art in Melbourne and if you are lucky, you get to witness a live demonstration, like us!
** Enjoy a spectacular skydeck experience at Eureka 88 and degustation at Eureka 89!

Depart to Melbourne Airport & Transit to Kuala Lumpur then to Bangkok!

** There are many places that we missed out previously for example: Yarra Valley for wine testing, St Kilda & SEA Aquarium, but we will definitely come back again because I have fallen in love with this lively city! 



and this is our itinerary in Bangkok! It is more like a easy going Bangkok trip!

Our original plan was visit to Hua Hin but due to certain reasons, we cancel the trip T-T
Baiyoke Hotel for Sky View - Siam Paragon - Central World - Dinner at hotel area

** A complementary fruit buffet is included in the entrance fee for Baiyoke Sky View. A fruit lover like WL must not miss this opportunity =D

** Going to Chatuchak Market on weekend is a must for me!

** Yay, prepare more $$ to do some shopping in Bangkok!
** Experience an airport-like shopping mall at Terminal 21 =D
** I fall in with Chocolate Ville because it has a relaxing & jolly ambiance~
